NextGen Digital Innovation Minor
The NextGen Digital Innovation minor provides a cross-disciplinary learning opportunity to students interested in learning the skills, methodologies, tools, and techniques necessary for the development and growth of the internet. This interdisciplinary minor will expand on understanding emerging technologies, the internet, Web3, and the related disciplines of all creative industries. It also prepares students with a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation to discover new business opportunities, how to leverage creativity and innovation for these opportunities, along with the skills to create, build, and manage innovative projects based on these new technologies.

Upon completion of the NextGen Digital Innovation minor, students will be able to:
- Apply the skills and techniques for innovation for emerging technologies to their own major and/or discipline in the creative industries.
- Identify the innovation and emerging technology skills, practices and business concepts needed to discover new white space opportunities in the creative industries.
- Develop business innovation concepts, pitches, oral and written presentations and/or projects that drive innovation with a competitive advantage within the next generation of the internet/Web3.
- Identify new innovation opportunities within their own disciplines by combining innovation and an entrepreneurial toolkit.
- Identify the characteristics and competencies required to be a successful innovator.
- Apply the knowledge of emerging technologies and innovation mindsets to problem solving, to generate new ideas, concepts and products for the creative industries.
- Explore the innovation and emerging technology skills, practices and business concepts necessary to identify new white space opportunities in the creative industries.
