EN 391 — Creative Imagination: Theory and Process (Honors)
3 credits; 3 lecture hours
This writing-intensive course explores creativity as both idea and practice. Students examine the creative process in action, consider theories from multiple perspectives, and reflect on how identity and culture inform expression. Through journals, exercises, and a scaffolded research project, they develop strategies that foster resilience, originality, and sustained creative activity across disciplines and communities.
Prerequisite(s): qualification for Presidential Scholars Program, or 3.5 GPA with approval of dean for Liberal Arts.
