This course reviews economic theory and its application to the arts and culture sectors. Students explore supply and demand analysis, market structure, consumer behavior, the economic concept of value applied to art trade and investments, public support for the arts, and its role in the local community and economy. Prerequisite(s): SS 141 and SS 242.
