PY 368 — Racialized Urban Landscapes: A Psychosociospatial Exploration

3 credits; 3 lecture hours

Do spaces have races? How do urban environments perform when linked to racial or ethnic groups? Can the neighborhood you live in influence life outcomes and personal identity? This course explores how race and social constructs shape physical space and addresses strategies to challenge spatial marginalization and inequality in cities.
Prerequisite(s): PY 131 or SO 171.
