MG 242 — Principles of Accounting

Introduces accounting and finance principles with emphasis on critical thinking. Covers the full accounting cycle, including journalizing, ledger posting, financial statement preparation, and closing entries. Students analyze financial data, assess bias, and make strategic decisions through accounting problems, finance case studies and simulations to understand finance’s role in organizational decision-making.
