MC 209 — Hispanic Cultures In New York

This course focuses on the development of Hispanic culture in New York from the turn of the 20th Century to today. Students examine the cultural production from earlier waves of Hispanic immigration to contemporary expressions of Latinx culture through diverse media sources: writing, video, film, audio, and the visual arts.
