IT 312 — Italian Fashion Culture

3 credits; 2 lecture and 2 lab hours

This course is conduced entirely in Italian. This course looks at fashion in Italian culture from the Middle Ages through the present day. Materials include short stories, magazines, newspapers, blogs, and films. Students analyze how fashion reflects sociopolitical changes throughout Italian history, and learn specialized vocabulary related to fashion. (G8: Foreign Language)
Prerequisite(s): IT 213 or permission of instructor.
