HI 210 — Sales and Service in World History

From ancient markets and taverns to modern barbershops and department stores, sales and service have shaped the world. Students examine changing corporate structure, labor relations, sourcing and marketing, consumer technologies, professionalization, pop culture, and philosophies of customer service over two thousand years, focusing on the modern western world.
