EL 131 — College Literacy Strategies
3 credits; 2 lecture and 2 lab hours
This course helps students develop effective processes and strategies for reading and writing complex texts. Students will analyze and compose texts of different genres, paying careful attention to audience and purpose when reading and writing. They will also reflect upon how strategies learned in class can apply to other contexts.
