Explores the social nature of human beings, how they adapt the environment to suit their needs, and how they react perceptually and behaviorally to the built environment. Emphasis is placed on the designer's role/responsibility in reacting sensitively to specific user groups and improving their quality of life

IS 321 — APPLIED CHEM FOR RESTORATION

3 CREDITS; 3 LECTURE HOURS

Develops essential principles of chemistry using a descriptive rather than a quantitative approach. Provides students with the theoretical background needed to solve practical problems in restoration, and reinforces this approach with suitable demonstrations
